About Factopia
At Factopia, we prioritize long-term profitability for future generations, rather than solely focusing on maximizing rental square meterage for maximum financial gain. We are committed to maintaining a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach within our facilities. As such, we strive to incorporate a sufficient amount of greenery to balance out concrete structures. This commitment not only benefits the environment but also creates a pleasant and healthy atmosphere for our members and surrounding communities.
Factopia is a creative community of artists, designers, architects, photographers, and digital production agencies.
Factopia was founded in 2017, and the name is a portmanteau, blended from the words Factory and Utopia. The space itself is approximately 6400 sqm and located in the Bangkok Metropolitan region, right in front of Bang Krasor train station.
The space currently consists of 12 studio units, as well as a main hall, a professional kitchen, and a mezzanine. While the studio units are used by the community, the main hall area currently caters to events and shootings.
About Founder
Tithi Kutchamuch is the founder of Factopia and an artist/designer. She is a graduate of the Royal College of Art in London, known for its focus on art, design, and creative innovation.
During her time in London, Tithi shared a studio with other designer-makers in the vibrant creative area of Shoreditch. This experience undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping her vision for creating a community that supports and brings together creatives.
After her return to Thailand, Tithi decided to establish Factopia with a mission to not only provide a space where artists and designers could come together but also to promote a balanced and harmonious coexistence between humans, nature, animals and insects. That is why Factopia has a number of big trees exceeding the number of residents.
